Exciting progress continues at All Saints Anglican School as construction of the new STEAM building extension takes shape. With the steel framework now in place, the scale and design of the contemporary learning spaces are becoming increasingly visible, marking a significant milestone in the project.
Once complete, the extension will feature purpose-built facilities, including hospitality spaces, general science classrooms, specialised laboratories for chemistry, physics and biology, as well as dedicated areas for woodwork, performing arts and visual arts. These contemporary learning environments have been designed to foster creativity, collaboration and innovation across all year levels, further strengthening the School’s commitment to future-focused education.
This year, All Saints also introduced a new Year 9 subject, Careers and Service, which is already enriching student learning through meaningful and practical experiences. The innovative program connects classroom learning with real-world opportunities, enabling students to explore potential career pathways while developing essential life skills. Through engagement with industry professionals and the wider community, students gain valuable insights into future opportunities and the pathways required to achieve them.
A key feature of the program is its strong focus on service. Students contribute to school life by volunteering at events such as community breakfasts, Cross Country and Harmony Day, promoting a sense of responsibility, leadership and belonging. They also have the opportunity to gain recognised certifications, including Food Safety, First Aid and Work Ready qualifications. Practical learning experiences, such as résumé writing and interview preparation, further enhance students’ readiness for future employment.
Behind the scenes, the School continues to plan for future growth. All Saints is progressing through the VRQA accreditation process as it expands from Prep to Year 10 in 2027, while also commencing the VCAA application process to offer VCE pathways in the years ahead. Together, these initiatives reflect the School’s ongoing commitment to delivering a high-quality, well-planned education that equips students for future success.
