In this year of thanksgiving to God and joyful celebration of AngliSchools 40th Eucharist, the following ‘all purpose’ prayer may come in handy. Perhaps consider saying it to open or close a meeting, in class, or in an assembly or chapel service. You can place the prayer in a school publication. And of course, it is there for your personal prayer and reflection.
Let’s pray:
God of our past and of our future,
in this our fortieth year,
we thank you for those who established AngliSchools,
and for all whose vision and effort has made us what we are today.
As we continue to build on our strengths,
and to learn and grow together as a community of schools,
give us grace to further commit to our core values:
That faith, excellence, justice, respect, integrity, and inclusion
flourish in our teaching and learning spaces,
our music and drama programs,
our sporting, co-curricular, and service activities,
and in our acts of worship.
We pray in Jesus’ name,
Amen.
