Our Vision for Learning articulates what we value in our learning communities, for our educators, students and our families. It is a unified set of beliefs and values, expressed in a common language, to drive learning culture in our schools.

We’d like to thank you for all your wonderful work, to implement and to take the AngliSchools’ Vision for Learning forward, across our schools throughout 2024. Following last year’s implementation phase of the Vision for Learning, each school has reflected on their individual journeys to date.

The AngliSchools’ Vision for Learning Snapshot 2025 is an opportunity to share and showcase this work and its terrific impact across our schools during the implementation phase, and to prepare for further priorities and embedding of the Vision for Learning this year. Our Vision for Learning Snapshot 2025 reflects the individual needs and context of each school, with priorities set for 2025 to bring this Vision to life locally, within each school community.

Copies of the AngliSchools’ Vision for Learning Snapshot 2025 will be made available to each school via your Principal during Term 1. We look forward to working together this year to continue to realise these ambitions for our learners.

AngliSchools’ Professional Learning Webinars
Following the success of our Data webinars in 2024, Doctor Selena Fisk is presenting a series of professional learning webinars for our schools this year on Making Your Impact with Data.

The purpose of Dr Fisk’s series of data webinars is to support AngliSchools’ educators and leaders with our commitment to excellence and to continuous improvement. The use of data in schools is not the responsibility of a single person in a school, it is the responsibility of all teachers and leaders to know the numbers, and to use this knowledge to make an impact by targeting our curriculum and instruction so that it benefits our young people.

This AngliSchools’ webinar series is open to school leaders and teachers including Senior Staff, Heads of Learning Areas and interested teachers. Please note that there is no registration fee for AngliSchools’ staff to attend this webinar. Invitations for each seminar are sent to Principals and Heads of Teaching and Learning for distribution to interested staff across each school.

Our first live webinar was held on Monday 17 February and explored how to make an impact with data in your school, set priorities and create a data plan. These live webinars also provide you with an opportunity to ask Dr Selena Fisk questions.

AngliSchools’ Professional Immersion Program for Educators (PIPE)
AngliSchools’ is delighted to be offering our Professional Immersion Program for Educators PIPE program to student teachers in 2025, in partnership with the University of Western Australia (UWA) and Edith Cowan University (ECU).

(PIPE) is an innovative program designed to attract and retain high quality teachers to our schools. PIPE aims to nurture and develop the next generation of high-calibre educators.

The program is a tripartite agreement and collaboration between AngliSchools and UWA’s Graduate School of Education and ECU’s School of Education, offering students paid, real-world experience inside a AngliSchools classroom, over and above their practical course work.

PIPE is designed to address current and future staffing needs by creating a ‘pipeline’ of quality, classroom-ready Primary and Secondary teachers. Last year, the PIPE Pre-service teachers found the experience in our school communities to be incredibly welcoming and rewarding as illustrated in the AngliSchools’ PIPE Program Video.

Our sincere thanks to our Principals, and to the experienced mentor teachers in our schools for their professionalism, dedication and support of the PIPE Pre-service teachers last year. They made PIPE a great success in its inaugural year.

We look forward to welcoming the PIPE candidates to our schools this year. Expressions of interest for schools to be involved in the PIPE Program 2025 will be sent to our schools in Western Australia, via the school Principals.
