Swan Valley Anglican Community School has appointed two new members to its senior leadership team: Ms Keralee Radi as Head of Secondary (Student Wellbeing) and Mr Dean Shadgett as Head of School Operations. Both bring extensive experience in education and leadership across independent schools.
Ms Radi has more than a decade of leadership experience in wellbeing and inclusion across independent Anglican schools. Holding a Master of Education (Student Wellbeing) and a Graduate Certificate in Positive Education from the University of Melbourne, Ms Hadi focuses on implementing evidence-based systems to support student wellbeing and engagement.

‘I’m excited to join a community that places student wellbeing at the heart of everything it does,’ Ms Radi said. ‘I look forward to strengthening a culture where every student feels connected, supported and confident to use their voice.’
Mr Shadgett joins the school with extensive leadership experience across several independent schools in Perth. Holding degrees in Arts and Education from Edith Cowan University and a Master of Education in Management, Leadership and Administration from The University of Western Australia. His expertise includes operations, curriculum design, educational technology, and strategic planning.
‘I’m thrilled to be part of such a vibrant and forward-thinking school community,’ Mr Shadgett said. ‘My focus will be on ensuring strong operational foundations so staff and students can continue to thrive.’
Principal Melissa Powell said both appointments would strengthen the school’s leadership team and support its vision for a connected and thriving student community.
