John Septimus Roe Anglican Community School has begun the new year by unveiling a refreshed version of its school crest, an update designed to honour the School’s Anglican heritage while presenting a more contemporary identity.
This rebrand is more than a visual update. It forms part of a broader strategy to position the School as forward-thinking and values-driven, while remaining firmly grounded in its traditions. The refined crest retains the familiar elements that anchor the School’s history, while introducing subtle modernisation to improve clarity and usability across digital platforms, printed materials and signage.
In doing so, the School sought to strike a balance between maintaining tradition while ensuring their visual identity remains relevant and functional in a changing educational environment.
The first visible example of the refreshed crest can now be seen on the newly repainted gymnasium, where it features prominently in new campus signage. This installation marks the beginning of a gradual rollout that will continue throughout the year.
The update supports a School goal of ensuring that its external presentation reflects the quality of learning, care and community engagement taking place across John Septimus Roe Anglican Community School.
