Are You Really OK?
R U OK? Day on 10 September 2026 is an important reminder of the role we all play in supporting the wellbeing of our colleagues, friends, and family members.
While asking ‘Are you OK?’ can seem like a simple question, taking the time to genuinely listen can have a powerful impact. Sometimes people may be experiencing challenges that are not immediately visible, and a meaningful conversation can help them feel supported, connected, and valued.
This year’s message, ‘Ask R U OK? Any Day’, encourages us to make checking in with others a regular habit, not something reserved for a single day each year. Whether it’s a colleague who seems quieter than usual, a friend going through a difficult period, or a family member who may need support, a conversation can be the first step toward helping someone access the assistance they need.
When checking in with someone:
- Take the time to ask how they are going.
- Listen with an open mind and without judgement.
- Encourage them to seek support if needed.
- Continue to check in and stay connected over time.
At AngliSchools, supporting employee wellbeing remains a priority. All employees have access to our Employee Assistance Program (EAP) through Converge International, which provides free and confidential professional support.

Employee Benefits: Fitness Passport
As part of our 2026 HR initiative to enhance employee wellbeing and benefits, we are pleased to announce the upcoming launch of Fitness Passport, commencing 31 August 2026.
What is Fitness Passport?
Fitness Passport is a discounted wellbeing benefit that provides employees and their eligible family members with access to an extensive network of participating gyms, health clubs, leisure centres, swimming pools, and fitness facilities through a low fortnightly membership fee.
Find out more here
To help tailor the program to the needs of our workforce, a Fitness Passport survey will open on 31 August 2026 and remain available for three weeks.
A communication containing further information and survey details will be distributed by your Business Manager on the survey opening date.
The survey will ask employees to nominate their preferred fitness facilities and locations. Fitness Passport will use this feedback to design an offering that best reflects the needs and preferences of AngliSchools employees and their families.
Your participation is important. A strong response rate will help ensure Fitness Passport can develop a network that delivers the greatest value and accessibility for our staff. We encourage all employees to complete the survey and have their say in shaping this exciting new wellbeing benefit.
