Students across the AngliSchools network have celebrated outstanding achievements in the Duke of Edinburgh’s International Award program, with seven students attaining the prestigious Gold Award and Cathedral College Wangaratta marking an exciting first cohort of Bronze Award recipients.
The Award encourages young people to develop initiative, perseverance, and a commitment to service through participation in activities across four key areas: Physical Recreation, Skills Development, Voluntary Service, and an Adventurous Journey.

Bronze Award Milestone for Cathedral College Wangaratta
Cathedral College Wangaratta (CCW) enjoyed a landmark year in 2025, with its first group of students completing the Bronze Award as part of a growing extra-curricular offering. The cohort undertook their Adventurous Journey to Bright, 80km from the College, demonstrating their teamwork, perseverance and impressive enthusiasm for the program!
