AngliSchools will hold two Community Information Sessions in September for families and community members from local and surrounding areas interested in learning more about Ascension Anglican School, a new school planned for Cardigan in Ballarat’s growing west.
The School is scheduled to open at the beginning of 2029 for students from Preparatory to Year 6, before progressively expanding to offer Preparatory to Year 12 by 2035. Year 7 will be offered in 2030.
Underpinned by AngliSchools values of Faith, Inclusion, Respect and Excellence, Ascension Anglican School will provide high-quality, fee-accessible and inclusive Anglican education where every student is known, supported and encouraged to achieve their best.
The information sessions will provide an opportunity to hear about the plans for the new school, meet representatives from AngliSchools, ask questions, explore the educational opportunities being created for Ballarat families, and register interest in places for 2029 and beyond. Principals from other Victorian AngliSchools will also attend and be available to meet members of the community.
