This year, we mark the 40th anniversary of the Anglican Schools Commission and celebrate its rebranding as AngliSchools. This milestone and fresh chapter in our shared journey of faith and education reminds us that longevity and new beginnings go hand-in-hand.  Together they are blessings from God.

In fact, life – new life, abundant life, eternal life – are at the heart of the good news of Jesus Christ. This is what we as Anglicans, together with Christians from around the world, joyfully commemorate on Easter Sunday. The Church’s proclamation that “Christ has died, Christ is risen, Christ will come again” speaks of the mercy, light and hope which Jesus brings to our life.

This message comes alive each day in every Anglican school – not only in its religious life, but also in its pursuit of the light of knowledge, in its attitude of mercy and acts of service, and in its hope for the bright future of its students.

As we look ahead to the next chapter of AngliSchools, and as we celebrate the resurrection of Christ, let us remember that we are all part of a greater story being written by God. May this Easter season bring you and your family much joy, for Christ is risen. He is risen indeed!
