As we approach Easter, we are reminded of the heart of the Christian story – that even in the darkest moments, God brings hope and new life. The resurrection of Jesus reminds us that love is stronger than fear, and that peace is gift of the risen Lord (John 20:19).

This year, as we celebrate, our thoughts also turn to those suffering through conflict in the Middle East and in other parts of the world. We pray for all who live with violence, loss, and uncertainty; and we ask God to guide leaders and communities along paths of justice and lasting peace.

In our schools and homes, may the Easter message inspire us to be people of compassion and courage – seeking understanding, caring for one another, and standing as witnesses to Christ’s hope in a troubled world.

May his light fill your hearts with joy this Easter.
