To reflect our AngliSchools Values captured in the tag line ‘a FIRE within, a light for others’, the beginning of this first year of Strategy 2030 calls for a new AngliSchools Prayer. The prayer below is intended for all in AngliSchools to use regularly: to open or close meetings, to pray with classes or in assemblies or chapel services, to place in school publications, or for personal prayer and reflection.
Let us pray:
Gracious God,
we thank you for AngliSchools:
for all who work and learn,
teach and play, think and grow with us.
We ask your blessing on students and staff,
leaders and governors, and all in the AngliSchools family.
Give us grace to fully embrace our values;
so that faith, inclusion, respect, and excellence
flourish in our teaching and learning spaces,
our visual and performing arts programs,
our sporting, co-curricular, and service activities,
and in our acts of worship.
We pray in Jesus’ name,
Amen.
